So often when we get married we’re looking for and hoping for the ‘happily ever after’. But then reality hits. Laundry starts to pile up. Bills have to be paid. And we discover that marriage takes some serious work.
That’s when the world says, “If you aren’t happy, just leave.” But to fully discover all that God has in store for us, we have to realize that marriage is about so much more than just our happiness.

We look to our marriage relationships for companionship, friendship and meaning. We expect marriage to solve our need for wholeness, completeness, and happiness. But is that all God had in mind when he designed the holy institution of marriage?
In this series, Ed Young takes a unique approach to marriage. And as we look to God's plan, we discover that marriage may never have been intended so much for our happiness as much as it was for our holiness.
